Hey, I'm Ashley!

Hello! I’m Ashley, a recent RISD graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design.

In 2020, I interned with Tencent’s Product Operations team, where we enhanced a charity program promoting education for underrepresented groups in China.

In 2024, I joined Amazon’s Global Talent Management and Compensation team (GTMC) under PXT, improving critical onboarding platforms for 1.6 million employees. Additionally, as the design lead for the ARVR NASA SUITS Space Club, I led a team of 20 to develop VR interfaces with Microsoft HoloLens, aiding astronauts in lunar navigation.

My superpowers

Innovation - Innovation is really important for a UX designer. Innovation allows UX designers to come up with creative and effective solutions that directly address user needs and pain points. It helps designers develop new ways to enhance user experiences and push the technology boundaries forwards.

Learn and be curious - As a designer, learning and improving your design skills is always a key to success. Only when you have opportunities to see more of the world, you will be able to create new ideas.is always

Story telling - I enjoy transforming design concepts into engaging narratives using animations and visuals in slide decks. I always break own complex concepts into simple yet fun narrative for audience to digest.

Bias for action - I aim to deliver my product on time, achieve the set goals, and address the identified issues. With that in mind, today, I’d like to share the project I’m most proud of.
